First Edition. Long novel [569pp] issued as a volume in Nelson's New Novel series. Publisher's green cloth with white enamel & gilt spine title shield.
As usual the enamel has flaked away but the gilt titling is still largely present. Frontis. in colour by Webster. Other than the endemic flaw to spine, a clean and tight copy.
