What you are buying

Every book here is a single copy, described by hand. Descriptions are meant to be exact, and defects are named rather than glossed. Because the same stock is also offered on other marketplaces, it is possible, though rare, for a copy to sell twice within the same few minutes. If that happens we cancel and refund in full immediately, and we tell you at once.

Order and payment

Your order is an offer to buy; the contract is formed when we confirm it by email. Prices are shown in the currency you select and include no import duties. Payment is taken by Revolut; we never see your card details.

Invoices and VAT

Second-hand books are sold under the Hungarian margin scheme for second-hand goods, so the invoice shows no separately deductible VAT. An invoice is issued for every order and sent to you by email.

Delivery

See shipping for times and costs. Risk passes to you when the parcel is handed to you or to someone you nominate.

Withdrawal and returns

Consumers have fourteen days to withdraw. See returns and withdrawal, including the model form.

Complaints

Write to us first and a person answers. If we cannot resolve it, a consumer may apply free of charge to the conciliation board with jurisdiction over our seat: Csongrád-Csanád Vármegyei Békéltető Testület, 6721 Szeged, Párizsi krt. 8-12., bekelteto.testulet@cskik.hu. Hungarian law governs these terms; nothing in them removes the rights a consumer has under the law of their own country of residence.
