First Edition. Very scarce true first edition of this tale of old Provence. Publisher's light blue cloth binding lettered in black with silhouette vignette to front cover.
Undated, but with list of 18 titles on verso of half-title, not mentioning Nicolette, as required [Parrott A.35]. Ownership inscription on title page, light page edge foxing and water-spotting to foot of spine but generally a well-preserved, sound and clean copy. Brand new bibliography of Orczy now available direct from me, the author.
