First Edition. First edition of this very scarce Benson novel in new, full-colour facsimile dust-wrapper. Publisher's red cloth lettered and decorated in black.
Minor water staining at foot of front cover and very light page edge foxing. Original ownership inscription dated 1926 on title page. Otherwise good and sound and the text even looks unread.
In an excellent full-colour facsimile jacket with illustration on front panel showing a flapper beckoning a besuited man to come into her parlour.
