First Edition. Very scarce first edition an early novel by this Hungarian writer who has only gained international recognition posthumously. Publisher's plum coloured cloth lettered in gilt.
Slight spine lean and inoffensive water-marked patch to fore-edges. Apart from these minor flaws quite clean and sound.
