I Say No

Wilkie Collins
Chatto & Windus, London · 1885

First Edition Thus. First one-volume edition of this uncommon Wilkie Collins novel, published in the previous year as a 3-decker. In the original dark green Piccadilly Novels binding with decoration in black and lettering in gold and black, top edges uncut, floral endpapers.

Publisher's catalogue at rear dated April 1885 announcing this edition as available shortly. Minor, almost imperceptible repairs to head and tail of spine using matching cloth. Small triangle missing from rear free endpaper.

A good, sound and internally very clean copy of a difficult title.

Written by Dr Jeremy Parrott, who has the book in his hands. Nothing here is generated from a catalogue record.
