Gazdagok Es Szegenyek [To Have and to Have Not]

Ernest Hemingway
Revai, Budapest · 1948

First Edition. Very rare first edition in Hungarian of just the second novel by Hemingway to appear in this language. Translation by Kassai Zoltan.

Publisher's half-cloth binding: pepper and salt cloth spine lettered in green, paper-covered boards with gilt vignette to front cover. Small ownership inscription to half-title and light foxing else clean and sound. Very uncommon, even in Hungary, and a great addition to any Hemingway collection.

Written by Dr Jeremy Parrott, who has the book in his hands. Nothing here is generated from a catalogue record.
