Bucsu a Fegyverektol [A Farewell to Arms]
Ernest Hemingway
Revai, Budapest · 1933
First Edition. Very rare first edition in Hungarian of the first novel by Hemingway to appear in this language. Translation and introduction by Benedek Marcell.
Very stylish contemporary half-cloth binding: imitation crocodile skin boards, false raised bands and gilt lettering to spine. Excellent condition. The only copy of this book I have seen in 20 years of dealing in Hungarian literature.
Written by Dr Jeremy Parrott, who has the book in his hands. Nothing here is generated from a catalogue record.
