First Edition. Very scarce Hungarian first edition of these two Sherlock Holmes stories, first published in book form in English in the same year of 1905 in 'The Return of Sherlock Holmes'.Translation by Dr. Milton Oszkar. 107 text pages with 4pp ads at rear.
In contemporary half-cloth binding with marbled paper to boards. Some grubbiness to margins from handling but a good, sound copy of a desperately scarce book, the only copy I have unearthed in 30 years of dealing with Hungarian literature in Hungary.
