First Edition. First edition of this 64pp collection of fairy tales, undated but published in 1895 as a title in the Queen Mab Series (Parrott: A.2). Red illustrated cloth, all edges gilt.
Numerous in text illustrations which have been carefully coloured in using water colours, enhancing rather than detracting from the appeal of the book. A bit grubby inside and out but still good and sound. Cheap copy of an uncommon book.
