Publisher's blue cloth lettered in gilt, dated 1908 on title page. 32pp publisher's catalogue for 1908 at rear, advertising thepresent book on p13 as a new novel under the title 'The Illusive Pimpernel' [sic] - to the best of my knowledge a previously unrecorded issue point. Light rubbing to head and tail of spine, page edge foxing and straining to hinges of the very brittle endpapers.
A good, sound copy of a book rarely encountered in better condition.
