Michael Scott
Blackwood, London · 1833

First Edition. Anonymously published first edition in 2 volumes of Scott's first and most successful novel. In publisher's original dark green morocco cloth with gilt spine titles.

Sadleir's 3040 in the primary A binding. Uncut edges, half-titles in both volumes, original endpapers. Minor foxingand trivial wear; two hinges strained but holding.

A perfectly sound and attractive set. Most uncommon in the original cloth and in such a good state of preservation.

Written by Dr Jeremy Parrott, who has the book in his hands. Nothing here is generated from a catalogue record.
