First Edition. Scarce first edition of this early Benson novel, drawing on his recent experience as an archaeologist in Greece. In original red cloth lettered in gilt and with 12 tipped in plates.
Catalogue at rear dated November 1897. Several small water spots to cloth and minor foxing else a very good, sound copy. G.P.
