First Edition · one copy only
The Thousandth Woman
E.W. Hornung
Eveleigh Nash, London
First Edition. Very scarce true first of this exciting Hornung novel. Undated, as required, but issued in 1913.
Original greenish-brown cloth lettered in black; all plates by Snapp present. Title page is a cancel as in other copies of this title that I have inspected. Faint ring stains to front cover else a near VG copy of a truly feeble example of the printer's and binder's 'art'.
No wonder so few copies have survived. Frank Snapp (illustrator).
Written by Dr Jeremy Parrott, who has the book in his hands. Nothing here is generated from a catalogue record.
