First Edition. Very Good Indeed. Extremely scarce first edition, in 2 volumes as issued, of this important and early novel by Herczeg Ferenc.
In original bright scarlet bindings by Gottermayer with lettering and decoration in black. Two volumes in the Egyetemes Regenytar series with ads to the endpapers confirming this set as a first issue. Slight sunning to spines but beautifully clean and tight; probably the best set still in existence.
