First Edition. Very scarce first edition of Part 1 of Sertodottek, Marai's great trilogy and his last work to appear in Hungary for more than 40 years. In publisher's half-cloth binding - oatmeal spine and orange paper-covered boards lettered in red.
Minor shelf wear to board edges but anexcellent copy - bright, tight and crisp.
