Scarce and important novel by leading Prague Jewish writer, biographer and literary executor of Kafka. In the publisher's original half cloth binding with cover design by Emil Preetorius. Slight rubbing and foxing to the paper-covered boards but sound and tight.
One of only 5000 copies, most of which would have been destroyed since the cover boldly depicts a star of David.
