Plain Speaking

Dinah Maria Mulock Craik
Hurst and Blackett, London · 1882

First Edition. Very scarce 336pp collection of essays and tales by the author of "John Halifax Gentleman". Publisher's diagonally ribbed green cloth lettered and ruled in gilt, sepia endpapers, top edge uncut.

Neat repair to snag at head of spine and now a sound and internally very clean copy.

Written by Dr Jeremy Parrott, who has the book in his hands. Nothing here is generated from a catalogue record.
