Beautiful set of this scarce 2-volume novel. The second edition, being the third thousand (i.e. the first edition was just 2000 copies). In publisher's russet cloth lettered and decorated in black, all edges stained green, floral endpapers.
Lovely Art Nouveau vignettes throughout by Fidus and double-page illustration of naked nymphs dancing in a fountain at beginning of volume 2. Just the faintest shelf wear but virtually a fine set. Fidus (illustrator).
