First Edition. Very good copy of the first edition, printed in 1944. Publisher's light fawn cloth with illustration and lettering in purple.
Ownership signature to front endpaper and very faint foxing. Dust wrapper torn with loss to top of front panel (some of'Nancy') and a small piece missing from top of rear panel, price clipped else good. Scarce in any condition, particularly in dust wrapper.
