First Edition. Extremely scarce anonymous yellowback and true first edition. The identity of the author of this 310pp novel has never been established.
The book was published as a yellowback original by Routledge and also issued by Tauchnitz . This copy is in the illustrated covers (featuring a horsey scene) and has the earliest ads to endpapers - the 10th issue of Routledge's Railway Advertizer dated 21/7/1892. Strain to webbing of lower hinge and usual rubbing to extremities but a good or better copy of a rare and fragile item.
