The 4th of Traven's works to appear in print and his first collection of short stories. This was the only one of his works published by BG in regular 8vo format, and this 1st edition is the only edition of the book with these contents; later editions of 'Der Busch' are expanded and in the regular large format. One of his scarcest works.
Smart copy in publisher's orange cloth, lettered in black, top edge blue. Minor spotting - possibly foxing - to the cloth, otherwise clean, tight and bright.
