Dead Man's Court

Maurice H. Hervey
Arrowsmith, London · 1895

First Edition. True first edition of this very scarce mystery novel with a racing theme Issued at Volume XXII (22) in the celebrated 3/6d series in 1895 (undated). Original russet cloth lettered and ruled in gilt. 310pp text with 2pp ads at rear, including list of first 21 titles in the 3/6d series.

First edition, first issue. Minor signs of age and handling: cracking to rear inner hinge, inscription on front pastedown; usual spine sunning - but no other obvious flaws to report. A very good, sound and internally clean copy.

Written by Dr Jeremy Parrott, who has the book in his hands. Nothing here is generated from a catalogue record.
