Turtles of Tasman
Jack London
Mills and Boon, London · 1917
First Edition. Rare Jack London first edition, undated but published in 1917. Issued in Mills & Boon's 1-shilling series.
Unusually, there was no 6-shilling edition of this collection. 307pp text + 10pp publisher's ads. List of 25 London titles opposite title page, with the present book at the top (i.e. the latest). Blue-green textured cloth lettered and ruled in black.
Slight spine lean and straining to inner hinges, which is almost inevitable given the extremely feeble paper used in this book. Other than these minor flaws a clean and smart copy of a book rarely, if ever, found in better condition.
Written by Dr Jeremy Parrott, who has the book in his hands. Nothing here is generated from a catalogue record.
