The King Who Was a King

H.G. Wells
Tauchnitz, Leipzig · 1929

First Edition Thus. Todd & Bowden's #4908 sole issue in publisher's x9e cloth binding. The bibliographers did not note any such cloth bound copies and state that this binding style was only used up to volume #4890.

Well, here's another little bit of biblio-trivia to add to the history of Tauchnitz. Dare I say, a unique copy.? Original ownership inscription from 1929 else virtually fine.

Written by Dr Jeremy Parrott, who has the book in his hands. Nothing here is generated from a catalogue record.
