The themes include education for women, folk-songs and relations between the Hungarian people and their land. A fascinating view of Hungary as it was celebrating its Millennium. Original highly decorative publisher's cloth.
Royal blue morocco-grained cloth with polychrome blocking of flowers and gilt lettering; floral endpapers; all edges stained pink. 220pp. Covers a bit stained and rubbed; grubby marks passim internally but quite sound and still an attractive book. Desperately scarce in any condition.
