First Edition Thus. Very rare edition of Kaffka Margit's great novel, issued by a Hungarian publishing house in the Hungarian-speaking region of the former Yugoslavia. Not many copies would have been printed - I would guess fewer than 1000 - and of those very few can have survived, both due to the political upheavals in the region and the fragility of the book.
In publisher's illustrated card covers and in full-colour dw with biography and portrait of the author to rear panel. Minor edge wear to dw else in nice condition and internally spotless.
