First Edition. First U.S. edition of this early Benson novel, one of his few books to appear in America before Britain (the Heinemann edition was 1908). Publisher's verically-ribbed green cloth lettered in gilt and with white blocking.
Light, general shelf wear with rubbing to the white enamel in front cover. Perfectly sound though and very clean internally.
