First Edition. Very scarce first edition (1st to 8th thousand stated) byf this prize-winning Hungarian author, whose most famous novel (Siberian Garrison) was translated into many languages. Original illustrated paper covers.
Edges uncut and completely unopened. A pristine copy and probably the only such survivor. No other copies in any edition or condition available worldwide at time of listing.
