First appearance in Hungarian of a long extract (20pp) from Narayan's autobiography plus a short story (The Girl by the River) accompanied by Greene's essay on Narayan. These are all in Nagy Vilag, 1979/12 a monthly periodical devoted to world literature. To date none of Narayan's works had appeared in Hungarian in book form.
Large format 160pp journal in soft covers also including work by Pablo Neruda, W.H. Auden, Roland Barthes etc. Smart, clean copy.
