A sequel to Ministering Children which first appeared in 1854 and was a best-seller over the following 50 years. Original High Victorian binding of blue pebble-grained cloth over bevelled boards with elaborate decoration in gilt and blind and gilt lettering. Sepia-coated endpapers, all edges trimmed, frontispiece and illustrated title page.
Inner hinges a bit strained but holding. Vague minor shelf wear but generally a clean, bright copy.
