First Edition Thus. Very scarce copy in original pink paper wraps of this 3-act play. This is a copy of the 2nd edition, bearing the mention 'deuxieme edition' on both wraps and title page.
It was the cause of a heated argument over plagiarism which is recorded in an exchange of letters that precede the text of the play (i-viii; 1-104). Minor rubbing to spine and corners but a remarkable survival in this condition.
