First Edition. Extremely rare first Hungarian edition of Very Good Jeeves, the only copy I have seen in nearly 20 years of dealing in Hungarian books. Translation by Dr Varady Gyorgy.
Published in 1944 in very flimsy wartime binding - cloth spine and paper-covered boards. Gilt spine lettering - now very faded - and gilt vignette to front cover. Spine edges strained but holding; covers a bit grubby.
Still quite sound though, and remarkably clean internally. A rare survivor and a must for a Wodehouse completist.
