Uncommon short story collection by the author of Ships That pass In the Night. 12th edition actually means 12th thousand as each printing was just 1000 copies. 32 pp publishers catalogue dated 3/97 still listing the 12th ed. of this book, so presumably its popularity was already waning by that time. Smart in the publishers stippled green cloth lettered in gilt on spine and with facsimile author's signature and title in black on front cover.
