First Edition Thus. Very rare and ephemerally produced school book, dealing with the latest developments in electricity in the 1860s. Pocket-sized volume bound in cloth-covered card with illustration to cover of three young gentlemen cranking up a generator. 100pp text with many in-text illus. + 4pp ads.

A volume in Gleig's School Series, with list of other titles on rear cover. Rubbed down lower edge of spine else good and sound.
