Scarce early edition of this famous novel. This is a copy of the 2nd ed. (15th-25th Thousand) the rare first edition having been published in the USSR (in Hungarian) in 1929. One of the great piecesof Socialist Realist literature (let's face it - there aren't many!), this book doesn't deserve to be buried in the rubble of history as it does have lasting literary and historical worth.
In publisher's half cloth binding with lurid illustration of a river of blood on the dw.
