First Edition Thus. Lovely 2-volume set of this celebrated novel. This is a copy of the 100th edition which contains a new preface by Rudolf Gunther.
In special binding of white linen, lettered and decorated in blue and black, all edges stained blue; silk markers; decorative endpapers. Inblack Gothic type with chapter headings in blue. Trivial shelf wear but an excellent set of a rare and extremely attractive edition.
