Lovely copy of this highly collectable travel book, scarce in first edition, Publisher's green cloth, lettered and decorated in gilt, map on front endpapers. 40pp catalogue at rear dated March 1907 [first issue]. 16 colour plates by William Pascoe and 20 b/w photo illustrations. Minor page-edge foxing and trivial shelf wear to head and tail of spine but a very bright and tight book.
Warm personal inscription on blank before half-title from the artist Pascoe to a friend in Hungary, signed and dated Budapest July 1907. William Pascoe (illustrator). Signed by Illustrator(s).
