First Edition. First edition of this 330pp collection of nautical sketches. Publisher's teal cloth with pictorial blocking to front cover and spine, and lettering in gilt and black. 24 unattributed illustrations.
Undated but with catalogue at rear for Octiber 1889 as required [Wolff #6007]. Floral endpapers, top edge uncut. Minor signs of aging but a VG copy of a 120 year-old book - sound and very clean internally.
