Az Uvegbura (The Bell Jar)
Sylvia Plath
Europa, Budapest · 1971
First Edition. Very scarce first edition in Hungarian of Sylvia Plath's great novel, published in 1971 - the same year as the first US edition. In translation by Tandori Dezso with 15pp critical afterword by Geher Istvan.
In publisher's lemon yellow card wraps lettered in black and white, as issued. Slight wear to edges of spine and faint water staining to top edges, else a clean, sound copy. Rare and unusual addition to any collection.
Written by Dr Jeremy Parrott, who has the book in his hands. Nothing here is generated from a catalogue record.
