Great looking Hungarian pulp edition of this classic tale, undated but c. 1930. Translation by Zombory Istvan, 256pp. Cover illustration in purple and red features a sinister veiled and turbaned figure throwing an Expressionist shadow on to the background.
Excellent condition for such an ephemeral work (staple-bound and in card covers) and probably the best copy in existence.
