A Wayfarer in Unfamiliar Japan
Walter Weston
Methuen, London · 1925
First Edition. Nice copy of this scarce and important work on exploring Japan's countryside. 208 text pages + 40 b/w photo illustrations, map on front end-papers; 8pp publisher's catalogue at rear dated 9/25. In the original bright orange cloth lettered and decorated in gilt to spine.
Very minor rubbing to head and tail of spine and slight bump to one corner else clean and bright; internally fine. Two publisher's fliers for New Books Autumn 1925 and front flap of dust-wrapper loosely inserted.
Written by Dr Jeremy Parrott, who has the book in his hands. Nothing here is generated from a catalogue record.
